One account to rule it all.

With Apple, you only need one account. Want to buy a film? Use your iTunes account. Want to buy a tune? Use your iTunes account. Want to buy an eBook in iBooks, an App, an in-App purchase, an audio book and even a shiny new iMac (as far as I cam see, you could even buy Apple hardware with gift cards if you had enough, but please don’t hold me liable if you can’t). All you need is your email address and password, and you can buy stuff from a whole world of items. So simple. I remember the old days of my Sony and Palm PDAs and Dell pocket PCs, and if you wanted to buy some (awful) software for it, you had to go to each individual website and throw your credit card details into a black hole. No more! Just once, and Only to Apple, not some dodgy developer and you can buy anything Appley you want.

  1. That’s really useful! So, in the future if we get an evil government, they’ll only have to force one company to hand over all of your personal details rather than having it spread out across many companies thereby making it much harder. How convenient! I’ll find all the Hitler wannabes and tell them!

    • They only know what they need to know ie. address for shipping lovely apple products to your door or credit card details for billing you to ship lovely apple products to your door
